Who we are
Innovations, Research and Training Center (INNORET) is a unique & robust organisation. We use indigenous & scientific knowledge & skills to advance research for development, entrepreneurship and innovative solutions for the well-being of people, and sustainable management of the environment. INNORET is registered under Malawi Government BNR Act (CAP. 46:02 – 2015). We operate using 6 pillars:
- Research for Development (R4D),
- Training,
- Innovations and Technology,
- Entrepreneurship,
- Capacity Building, and
- Emerging Issues.
INNORET has permanent staff and a network of innovators, professionals, armatures, researchers, and upcoming scientists dedicated to advancement of Vision 2020, MGDS III, and SDGs. We run income-generating activities for easy transfer of innovations, capacity building, and entrepreneurship skills. INNORET also runs non-profit projects as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
